Akwaaba!!! Welcome to Ghana. My new name? Abena. Ready for my Twi? Me din de Abena! Yeah i’m proud (:So here I am in Ghana, so far it’s been …hectic! When people said “it’s like New York” i definitely thought they were just being dramatic, but Accra is crazy!! Markets selling everything and anything that you could ever inagine, the cutesy little beggars you’ve ever seen, the most colorful clothing you’ve ever seen. Basically it’s just awesome here.
The culture is so rich here, the language is so different than anything i’ve ever heard, there’s Twi, Gha, French,English(with VERY strong accents, everything. I love it! Right now i’m blogging off of my iPod touch and it’s extremely tedious. So after I meet and settle in with my family I’ll be over it
I am so glad you are liking it there. I hope you keep enjoying your time there. I am so proud of you. I love you

Abena, I started a reply and then pushed the wrong button so don’t know if you will get it or not. In any case, I am so happy for you and it seems you are in a very caring home for which I am greatful.
I love you and you are missed.
